The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) provides our students with a state examination- dressmaking and hairdressing, by The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) done in December soon after the attachment. Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards of attaining grade 3 in the NITA examination. In the recent past there have been calls for recognizing the impact of Vocational training in line with achieving vision 2030. Vocational training seek to offer skills to students to make them self reliant as well as job creators, that is why ST. Bakhita House of hope is conforming to this call. By training out students in dressmaking, knitting and hairdressing and basic computer knowledge we envision to empower them to gain meaningful employment as we all to create entrepreneurs. By adhering to this quality assurance we believe our centre is a vocational training centre of excellence ready and up to task to churn out skilled and competent students.
