At St Bakhita, they don’t only teach but also offer mentorship and entrepreneurship programs which have really shaped my career in dressmaking. I have gained valuable expertise in the field of tailoring and dressmaking. With this knowledge I have been able to open my own tailoring and dressmaking workshop, I am now able to create garments for clients ranging from school uniforms, dresses, blouses, curtains, and baby gowns and also do some garment repairs for my clients. Without any doubt St Bakhita is the best hairdressing vocational training centre there is, after graduation, I worked in a Salon and beauty parlor in Eldoret Town. After a year I was ready to go on my own by opening my own salon. One year later I had two employees: a hairstylist anda nail art artist, I am able to feed my family and help others. I could not accomplish all these without the mentorship and the support of St Bakhita House of Hope Vocational Training cente. Thank you St Bakhita House of hope and all the wonderful staff.
